3rd October 2004 Windsurfing: Portland Wind Direction: west Wind Stength: 10knts Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered: Really marginal winds, had to leave the beach by about 10:30 and wasn't even going to bother but someone lent me a 48cm fin to try on the stoke so had to get wet. Pleased I did actually. a fin that long and a new 8.5 sail will give me stunning light wind performance, I need to go shopping next weekend! the board flew upwind, but i lost all that pumping downwind to get on the plane - again more to do with my technique than the kit. Still good fun though. got off the water at about 11:45, late but happy! |
